Description: Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great patriotic fervor on 15th of August,2024 at the college campus. The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by an inspiring address by Chairman Janab C.A. Basha Mohiuddin. He emphasized that the young generation must actively contribute to the betterment of our country, which is self-sufficient and resilient.
During the event, the management recognized faculty achievements by presenting incentives in the form of cheques for paper publications, authoring books, patent grants, and NPTEL reimbursement. Additionally, students from the B.E. First Year received well-deserved awards and certificates for their victories in various competitions held as part of Talent Hunt 2K24. This celebration reflects the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and national pride.

Description about the Event: Department of the CSE has conducted a “Spark 1.1 Show ur Talent Project Expo-2024 was held on 09-08-2024 , II floor, CSE Department. Dr. Ravi Kishore Singh, Principal- LIET, Dr.Nagi Reddy – Academics Dean, Dr T. k. Shavali -Hod CSE graced the event. Associate Hod -CSE has welcomed all the participants and the guest faculty.
Major objective of organizing this expo was to provide the platform and unleash the potential of the students by showcasing their innovative projects in 2nd year provides an opportunity for the students to demonstrate their learning experience. In this event 95 projects were exhibited for competition. The prizes and certificates were conferred upon the well deserving students by the Judges

Description about the event (50 Words): LORDS SHARK TANK 1.0: A Spectacular Journey of Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Lords College Business Management Department proudly conducted the preliminary rounds of LORDS SHARK TANK 1.0 from July 25 to 27, 2024. The event was a tremendous success, showcasing the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of our students.

Day 1: Inspiring Sessions and Warm Welcomes
On the first day, students were treated to an enlightening session on “Pitch Your Idea” by Mr. Manveen Singh from IIT Delhi. This was followed by a comprehensive overview of the startup ecosystem and funding opportunities presented by the IIT Delhi – Sonipat Incubator for Startups. Lords Principal, Management, and MBA faculty extended a warm welcome to our distinguished guests. The key takeaways for students included insights into “Startup Pitches” and “How to Pursue Entrepreneurship.”

Day 2: Intense Scrutiny and Pitch Deck Insights
The second day saw MBA faculty and the Shark Tank jury meticulously scrutinizing ideas and innovations presented by students from various engineering and MBA departments. A total of 45 students showcased their ideas for consideration and evaluation. The HoD MBA conducted a detailed Pitch Deck Session, providing valuable insights and guidance to the participants.

Day 3: Selecting the Best Pitches and Team Bonding
On the final day, the jury narrowed down the best pitches after thorough scrutiny. It was inspiring to witness the strong team bonding among the students. Some of the standout pitches included:
AI-Driven CCTV Restaurant Management System: Featuring a Proof of Concept (POC).
Travel Smart: Signed an MoU with LORDS TBI as a registered firm, with students presenting a robust aggregator with a revenue and profit model.
Ghar Banao: A comprehensive one-stop destination for all civil engineering works.
E-Cell Initiatives: Five idea pitches from E-Cell students have kickstarted a 1-on-1 program aiming to target 10 initiatives, one from each department.
The GRAND FINALE of LORDS SHARK TANK 1.0 will be held on August 7, 2024. We eagerly anticipate more groundbreaking ideas and look forward to crowning the ultimate winner.

Description about the event: On July 26, 2024, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology hosted an engaging guest lecture on Digital Signal Processing (DSP). The distinguished speaker, Dr. K. Vasanth, who is the Head of the ECE Department at CBIT College, delivered a comprehensive session that spanned from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
The lecture provided deep insights into the theoretical and practical aspects of DSP, including advanced techniques and real-world applications. Dr. Vasanth’s expert knowledge and engaging presentation style kept the 83 students in attendance thoroughly engaged and enriched their understanding of this critical area in electronics and communication engineering.The event was a significant success, enhancing students’ knowledge and appreciation of DSP, and reflecting the commitment of the ECE Department at Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology to providing high-quality educational experiences
